So a couple of weeks back we wrote about our decision to get involved with Plan Canada and become foster parents to two kids; one boy, and one girl. Today we received in mail a welcome package from Plan Canada for one of the two sponsorships. (We’re assuming the second one is on it’s way even though we submitted the application back to back).
So meet Irfan, our foster child. He lives with his parents and four siblings in Burewala, Pakistan.
In the package we received Irfan’s pictures, information about his family and household, stationary for writing to Irfan, and pamphlet about his village including history, basic services, their daily lives and the problems they face and how Plan Canada is helping the village reach over these problems.

MashAllah!!!! Congrats!!! Irfan has no idea how lucky he is!!! I read somewhere that parents don’t find the child, the child finds them!! Here is wishing you and your new extended family continue to grow and may your efforts be rewarded ten fold!!!! He is such a cutie!!!!
