It was obvious right from the first meeting that families play an important and huge role in the lives of Maha and Zohaib. This became even more obvious as we got to know them over the course of three days of wedding festivities in Mississauga and Toronto. So we spent some time off the record getting to know not just the couple, but also those who make up a large part of Maha and Zohaib’s lives. And what we ended up with is probably our best work to date in terms of storytelling and visual aesthetics. It was both an instant gratification and relief when after pulling some long nights and mornings, this video played at their reception and the couple turned to us waving and mouthing “This was awesome! This was exactly what we wanted!”.
